About the Event

Anyone can join this group as we learn to paint online with friends. You will be professionally guided along the way. Considerations will be made in order to properly plan your composition and color palette. Steps and procedures will also be discussed, and we will determine necessary materials required. Participants are welcome to work from a provided reference, or they may create their own live still life at home. This workshop is ideal for those new to painting, however experienced artists are welcome too. The atmostphere is fun and encouraging while it offers direction to participants in completing a finished work.

This class is limited to 10 people maximum. Upon registration you will receive an email with specific link for your Monday Painting Club. Looking forward to painting together!

Suggested Material List

Due to COVID restrictions, a simple material list is provided. Paint requirements will be limited to the 3 basic primary colours plus white (yellow, red, blue and white). You can substitute palette paper with styrophoam plates or a slick surface such as plastic tray or wax paper taped to a board. Also as a substitute for a stretched canvas, you can use a canvas board or heavy card stock paper. If you are using a wood panel, you may have to prime it with Gloss Medium and a primer called Gesso before working on wood. Please don't feel you need to order all these products, but use what you have available. This list is a suggestion:
